LPCC Supervisor in the Nelson County Area

Full-time

Qualifications:

  •  Must possess a current valid and unrestricted license or associate license from the state of Kentucky Mental Health Licensing Board.
  • Acceptable licenses are: LPCC or LCSW
  • Prefer to have 2 years of experience as LPCC supervisor.
  • Prefer knowledge of recovery, mental health and other co-occurring disorders and experience in working with addiction in a residential and / or intensive outpatient milieu.
  • Prefer experience working with various funding streams and ability to collaborate with our billing department.
  • Prefer experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills.

General Responsibilities:

  • Clinical assessments, treatment, case management, consultation, referral and education according to the individual’s professional discipline. Services shall be provided in accordance with the established Kentucky mental health and substance abuse standards as well as within the scope of practice of the individual.
  • In conjunction with Clinical Supervisor ensure adherence to the required HIPAA and documentation requirements as identified by county , state and federal regulatory agencies;
    Support the Clinical Director in program development;
  • Conduct psychosocial evaluations and provide therapeutic interventions including crisis counseling to individuals, groups and families as needed to facilitate; Maintain personal professional liability insurance;
  • Attend trainings for all clinical and program staff on Mental Health and AODE and other clinical topics relevant to services provided by Isaiah House Inc;
  • In collaboration with the Program Director oversee the audit of the clinical charts to insure adherence to county, state and federal statutes;
  • Participate with team case conference meetings on a weekly basis to ensure coordinated implementation of treatment plans and service utilization such that the comprehensive care of clients reflects the philosophy and objectives of Isaiah House Inc.;
  • In conjunction with the Clinical Director act as a liaison with other community service providers and agencies serving Isaiah House Inc. clients as needed;
  • Perform a semiannual self-evaluation;
  • Participate in program graduations and community addiction events as needed;
  • Perform other associated clinical duties as assigned;
  • Participate in “on call” rotation;
  • Provide professional liability insurance;
  • Assist and work with Clinical Director regarding strategic and long range planning as needed.
  • Be well versed in any and all policy’s procedures and rules.
  • Knowledge of recovery, mental health and other co-occurring disorders and experience in working with addiction in a residential and / or intensive outpatient milieu.
2 THERAPISTS in the Nelson County Area

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher in counseling, psychology, behavioral science or equivalent field of study.
  • Must possess a current valid and unrestricted license or associate license from the state of Kentucky Mental Health Licensing Board.
  • Acceptable licenses are: LPCS or LCSW.
  • Prefer to have 1 or more years in license.
  • Prefer knowledge of recovery, mental health and other co-occurring disorders and experience in working with addiction in a residential and / or intensive outpatient milieu.
  • Prefer experience working with various funding streams and ability to collaborate with our billing department.

  • Prefer experience working with various funding streams and ability to collaborate with our billing department.

Full-Time, Day Shift Positions

Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum Associate Degree, Bachelor’s Degree is preferable.
  • Should possess a current, valid, and unrestricted license in the State of Kentucky.
  • No minimum experience required.
  • Prefer knowledge of recovery, mental health and other co-occurring disorders and experience in working with addiction in a residential and / or intensive outpatient milieu.
  • Prefer Experience in crisis intervention and conflict resolution skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, fluid and stressful environment.
  • Possess a valid Kentucky driver’s license.
  • Reports to: LIP; Program Director.

General Responsibilities:

  • Perform intake assessments and assign treatment plans per protocol.
  • Evaluate new clients as needed for medical problems or treatment needs.
  • Perform ongoing evaluation and implementation of treatment plans during initial detoxification period.
  • Communicate with the LIP regarding client needs and adjustments in the treatment plan.
  • Perform education and support activities with clients regarding medical problems or health maintenance.
  • Participate in policy/procedural development and implementation.
  • Assist in preparing medication boxes for clients.
  • Assist in medication room procedures, i.e. providing med boxes, over-the-counter medications or evaluation of medical needs.
  • Be well versed in all rules, policies, and procedures and successfully completes relevant competencies.
  • Ensure that Medical Rooms are clean and stocked.
  • Ensure that first aid supplies are available and stocked in all med rooms and first aid kits on the premises.
  • Filing of medical papers for current and past clients.
  • Schedule medical appointments after consulting with House Management and keep appointment tracker up-to-date.
  • Prepare necessary information, outside medical visit forms, papers/IDs/insurance cards prior to clients’ medical appointments.
  • Request medical records from all appointments with an outside provider through appropriate personnel.
  • Performance of daily tasks and monthly audits as related to treatment room policies for such.
  • Monitoring of those who are complaining of illness- vital signs, symptoms and reporting to the LIP for treatment direction.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the Program Director, Medical Office Manager, or LIP.
