Congrats to Melissa Howard October’s employee of the month

Congratulations to our October “5 Star Employee of the Month”, Melissa Howard!

Melissa is our Human Resources Supervisor. Her job includes hiring, insurance enrollments, policy procedure, maintaining personnel file records, well, basically all things employee related. With a staff of 150 employees, there are many employee related tasks to keep Melissa very busy.

When we asked Melissa about what she liked about her job and working for Isaiah House, she replied, “I love when it comes time to hire our clients. I love getting to meet with them during that milestone of their recovery. I’m very passionate about my job because I am a graduate of Isaiah House and I know that it saves lives!”

Melissa is a graduate of our former womens program. She is married to Jacob Howard who is our Case Management Supervisor and is also a graduate of Isaiah House. They have two beautiful children. On top of being a Mom, wife, and full time staff member, Melissa is also a student finishing her Bachelors degree in Psychology with plans to go on to earn her Masters degree in Business Management.

We are glad to have Melissa as a part of the family at Isaiah House. Melissa was chosen by her co-workers. She received a special keepsake gift, front door parking in the designated Employee of the Month parking space and lunch with Isaiah House, Inc. President, Mike Cox.
