In response to the evolving COVID-19 situation, Isaiah House’s leadership is taking precautionary actions by following recommendations of public health authorities, the Kentucky Governor, CDC, and World Health Organization.
The following precautionary measures are in place:
Our medical staff are regularly educating and training staff and clients on ways to prevent transmission.
Practicing good hygiene such as regular hand washing with disinfecting soaps. We are sanitizing doorknobs, doors, handrails, chairs, desks, tables, beds, and walls daily. We are encouraging staff and clients to limit handshakes and personal contact.
We have posted signs throughout the facility describing ways to prevent the spread of germs.
As a precautionary measure, we are not transporting our clients to offsite events. Worship services are held in-house.
We are pre-screening all staff and new clients entering our buildings by taking their temperature, inquiring about any symptoms or exposure. No visitors are allowed into our buildings at this time. All of our staff are required to wear masks and to maintain social distancing.
We are postponing our scheduled home and family visits until we believe it is safe to resume. In place of monthly visits, we have secured video chat for our families and clients. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and hope you will be patient with us as we take necessary steps to protect the health and well-being of our clients and staff.
