“The Isaiah House showed me a new way to live life”
My name is Trey Wright. I am 24 years old, from Louisville, Ky. I came into the Isaiah House on May 8, 2019. I also walked away from the Isaiah House 2 hours later on May 8. Eleven hours later, I overdosed and almost lost my life.
I came back to the Isaiah House the next day and I haven’t looked back since. I played college football at Lindsey Wilson College and battled with a lot of knee surgeries. What went from taking pain medicine just so I could play, went to a full-on opioid addiction after I graduated.
The Isaiah House showed me a new way to live life and showed me that there are genuine people out there that truly care about you. The love and support surrounding this place is unlike any other. I am back to the loving brother, son, and friend that I once was.
There is real hope for addiction and it all starts with you stepping through the front door!
God bless you and God bless the Isaiah House!
